FAQs for Dynamic Hydropower ESC

  • Soft wash house is a process that involves low pressure water with detergent to clean the exterior surfaces. The water and detergent loosen and breaks down dirt, grime, mildew stains and other contamination found on the wall-surface. Soft washing can also improve indoor air quality by removing mold from surface areas in your home.

  • If you are considering pressure washing a driveway is an in-depth task that often requires many hours of work. A professional in the field with high levels of skill in this area would be able to complete it quicker, but even they may take hours depending on the size. It’s difficult to put a specific time frame on it since there are so many factors that can affect time, such as water pressure, hose nozzle settings, weather conditions, stain intensity and driveway material type. If you decide to do this project yourself (which we don’t recommend because it could damage your asphalt or concrete for example), plan on spending at least three or four hours of thorough working before moving onto another section of the driveway. And don’t forget about pressure washing safety.

  • It depends on your deck, how old it is, and what you hope to accomplish. Power washing your deck will remove grease, dirt, and grime (including mildew), but you need to make sure that there’s another way to secure the wood if pressure washing removes any of the finish.

Sometimes it may also be better for the deck to just get a good scrubbing manually because frequent use of pressure water can wear down different finishes on wood. If you do opt for machine cleaning then consider limiting the liquid temperature. Remember that using heat will help dissipate dirt and grease while still getting some break from dirt!
