Gutters that drain — and don't have black stripes down the front
Two jobs, one visit. We clear leaves, pine straw and shingle grit out of the gutters and flush every downspout so water goes where it should. Then, if you want them to look as good as they work, we brighten the outside face to remove the oxidation and tiger striping a house wash alone will not move.
Gutter Cleaning & Brightening without the damage
North Georgia gutters fill fast: oaks and pines drop year-round, and the grit that washes off asphalt shingles settles in the bottom like concrete. Overflowing gutters rot fascia, stain siding, undermine foundations and feed the algae we end up cleaning off the house. Most homes need a clean-out once or twice a year — after the fall drop and after spring pollen.
We clean gutters by hand from ladders or with vacuum poles where access is tight, bag the debris, and flush each downspout until it runs clear. Clogged elbows are cleared on the spot. We photograph anything we find that needs a repair person — loose hangers, separated seams, missing end caps — and send the pictures with your invoice. We do not repair or replace gutters.
Brightening is the finishing step. Tiger striping is electrostatically bonded oxidation and asphalt runoff; it is cleaned with a hand-applied gutter brightener and a soft brush, then rinsed at low pressure. It pairs best with a house wash, since bright gutters make dirty siding look worse.

Gutter Cleaning & Brightening FAQ
How often should gutters be cleaned in North Georgia?
Twice a year for homes under oaks or pines — late fall after the leaves drop and late spring after pollen. Once a year is usually enough for open lots. Overflow at the corners during rain means it is overdue.
Do you clean gutters with guards installed?
Yes. Most guards lift out or hinge up; we clean beneath them and reinstall. Guards that are screwed down or damaged are noted and quoted separately.
Is gutter cleaning the same as brightening?
No. Cleaning removes debris from inside so water drains. Brightening cleans the outside face so it looks new. You can book either or both; both are usually done the same visit.
Do you repair gutters?
No. We clear, flush and clean them, and we send photos of anything that needs repair so you can get it fixed before it becomes a leak.
What does it cost?
Most single-family homes start at $225, priced by linear footage, stories and how full they are. Brightening is quoted as an add-on to a house wash.
